Who Am I?

Written and Authored by T. Lee Thompson

Let me introduce myself. I’m Tracy Lee Thompson, but you can call me Aunt T. On my YouTube channel, ‘Tea Chat with Aunt T,’ I share spiritual insights and life stories. But more than that, I create an authentic virtual space for my nieces, nephews, friends, family, and other interested parties to connect and learn, just like we would in person.

What a diverse resume I have! I’m a Certified Hypnotherapist, Spiritual Blogger, Sculptor-Artist, YouTube Influencer, and Tarot Reader. Each role has added a unique dimension to my journey, and I'm excited to share these experiences with you.

What a resume! Yes, can you tell I’m a woman who’s lived over 65+ years?

I have been a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist since July 2011, and I’ve seen thousands of clients over these years helping with a variety of issues ranging from stopping smoking, overcoming addictions, anxiety relief, overcoming fears of many kinds, letting go of past traumas, emotional releasing and healing, past life regression and many more issues. See my credentials on my other website, Tracy L. Thompson - Hypnosis Worldwide.

My past husband, Ron, introduced me to hypnotherapy when we first met in 2007 and became my mentor, helping me to release many past traumas, emotional blocks, and depression from my life by using hypnotherapy. So, I am a firm believer that it is possible to move forward from debilitating traumas in life by using your mind to release and detach these images in your mind using hypnosis as therapy. We worked well together, helping others feel better using hypnosis. Still, since Ron’s recent passing in April of 2022, I have been grieving his loss and learning more about myself in the process of my healing.

I had been interested in being a psychic and tarot reader for possibly over the past twenty-five years. Still, because of over 30 years of religious programming during my childhood and early adult years of life, it took me quite a while to get past many fearful blocks that I had to be open to receive spirit in a balanced way. It was only after Ron passed away in 2022 that I felt compelled to enroll in a course on Tarot Reading and approached it with an open mind, heart, and soul. I now hold a certificate from Hay House, issued on May 9, 2023, as a Certified Card Reader. For the past two years, I’ve practiced meditations, journaling, and pulling an Oracle card daily to connect with my guides and higher self. So, I’m now open to doing Tarot readings for anyone who wishes to interact with me and my guides toward revealing what is in your highest good for you spiritually.

I have had an avid interest in all things metaphysical, Occult, and New Age since the early 2000s, when I began reading "The Psychic Pathway" by Sonia Choquette, as well as a few of her other books, including "True Balance" and "Trust Your Vibes." I was also studying/reading/following Runes through these books: “The Runes Workbook by Leon Wild and ‘Simply Runes by Kim Farnell. I created my own Rune staves from clay back then. Also, I was reading about Celtic symbols; I became so fascinated by these symbols, both Runes and Celtic, that I have two Tattoos on my back to show for it. This was the start of my spiritual curiosity, and many, many other books I have read since that opened my heart, mind, and soul to my ultimate purpose in this life, especially the study of the Kybalian or the seven Hermetic principles from Hermes Trismegistus or Thoth and all things Egyptian. I also had a palm reader tell me I was supposed to be famous, meet someone I would love dearly, and live to be 94! I have a bit of a laugh about this now as I am writing about how things have developed since then. And through another psychic and hypnotherapist, I discovered that I had three past lifetimes from doing regressions, which further opened my psychic curiosity.

My avid interest in psychic and occult subjects comes from experiencing some extraordinary supernatural events throughout my life. These events, which I call the ‘dark side’ of spirit, were intense and challenging, but they also served as powerful catalysts for my spiritual growth. They left a profound mark on my soul's path, shaping my understanding of the spiritual realm. [Read more about these events in my article series, ‘Becoming Spiritually Awakened and Other Scary Stories, Part One, Part Two, Part Three]

As a child, I was born into my family’s religion, which was the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a narcissistic, fundamentalist, Christian cult formed in 1931. For the first 30 years of my life, I was immersed in this belief system, and it wasn’t until being in a very physically and mentally abusive marriage for five years [1981-1986] that I decided to leave my first husband, my religion, and consequently my family. My family's departure was forced upon me because of being shunned, or, as the Jehovah’s Witnesses call it, being disfellowshipped.  This meant there was no fellowship or communication allowed with my family or friends in this religion because of my being disfellowshipped, leading to a profound sense of isolation and loss.

My life journey has been one of personal growth and resilience. My challenges have shaped me into a person who can thrive independently. I've learned to embrace the ‘Hermit stage’ and continue to grow and function without being negatively impacted. This journey is a testament to the power of resilience and the potential for personal growth.

Admitting to Myself and My Familiar World That I Might Just Be Psychically Gifted

Becoming Creatively Inspired to Write, Sculpt, Paint, and Speak Publicly

My creativity became increasingly urgent within myself shortly after my second marriage in around 2002, when I felt compelled to learn clay sculpture, water colour painting, pencil drawing, singing voice lessons, creating work projects using PowerPoint and many other skills, whetting my appetite for all things creative.  Because I was working full time and being a wife and a homemaker, it was challenging to find the time and space to do it because I lived in a condo then. I was always interested in the arts even as a child, but like most things during my childhood, the encouragement to do them was often discouraged due to the family's belief system. To alleviate my depression from remaining childless into my 40s, I sought comfort in creative activities such as clay sculpture, drawing, painting, writing, work projects, and presenting.

As far back as high school, I always wanted to be a writer, but like many things, I put it off because I did not feel worthy, educated enough, or have some other self-limiting belief. So, when I started writing my blog, at first, it was therapeutic as I was grieving the death of my husband, Ron, and everything just spilled out of me. I have continued to develop many inspirational, authentic writing ideas from my daily meditations and journaling.

This is how I organically became a spiritual writer of articles for my Hypnosis Worldwide website. Still, I leaned more towards life experiences and spirituality than hypnosis techniques and solutions, so I created another website, Fireflyspirit.com, to separate the two genres.

Years later, after spending 14 years caring for my late husband, Ronald, who was disabled, I reached this pivotal cycle of life again, and now my purpose is more apparent. So now, besides my regular work as a Certified Hypnotherapist, I’m artistically inspired to create this website, blog, Tarot reading, and YouTube Channel.

Join me on my creative journey and exploration of spirituality as we look forward to many signals, synchronicities, and magical, wonderful stories to come. Together, we can help more of humanity evolve into a higher vibrational frequency as we inhabit the new Earth.  This is Aunt T saying TA DA!

Let’s get started on your healing journey

Be clear, be confident, and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. The latter will take care of itself. It always does.
